Three Pillars of Naad
India is the birthplace of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy and recognised globally as the cradle of healing and wellness. Holistic living is a part of life here and culturally imbibed into the soul of the country and its people.
At Naad, every one of our experiences has been created around these ancient ethos and overseen by our resident physicians and experts.
Based on the principles of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, the property features a bouquet of experiences that begin at 3 nights and go up to 28 nights and include a combination of both experiential (Detox, Destress, etc) and medical packages (Diabetes Management, PCOS management, Spine Care, Sports Injury Management, etc).
Each experience is preceded by a one-on-one consultation with a resident Ayurvedic or Naturopathic physician, basis which an itinerary is customised which includes a combination of therapies, yoga, kriyas and nutrition. The objective is to heal the body, mind and spirit from within, addressing the root cause of any imbalance, rather than offering a superficial short-term solution.
Ayurveda: Translating to ‘the science of life’, Ayurveda recognizes human beings and nature to be one. With wisdom that dates back to more than 5,000 years, it describes movement, transformation and structure as the three fundamental energies that govern our inner and outer environment. Ayurveda believes that our bodies constitute the balance of the five elements and our primary forces are Vata (Wind), Pitta (Fire) and Kapha (Earth).
Yoga: Believed to have originated during the pre-Vedic era in India, yoga is a set of physical, mental and spiritual practices that heal the body, mind and soul. With several schools of yoga taught and practiced in India, it has been the medium to holistic wellbeing for centuries.
Naturopathy: While it has been recognised as a medical discipline with roots in 19th century Europe, many of Naturopathy’s governing principles have also found mention in India’s ancient Vedic texts. Its core belief is that the body possesses vital energies that are capable of healing from within and natural cures, diet regulation and exercise are its tools of transformation.
Like Ayurveda, Naturopathy also believes that the human body is but a balance of the five great elements of nature. Herbal massages, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, nutritional counselling and cleansing routines all form part of Naturopathic treatments.

Abhyanga (60 minutes) A traditional Ayurvedic therapy for holistic wellbeing, Abhyanga has been known to aid people in maintaining good health, improving sleep patterns and providing cures for several lifestyle disorders. A deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience, this therapy helps prevent stress, anxiety exhaustion and brings balance to the ‘tridoshas’.
The process involves massaging the whole body with warm medicated oil, eliminating the body of unwanted toxins, while stimulating lymphatic and arterial circulation. Abhyanga restores the flow of vital energy (prana) throughout the body, rejuvenating the organs and senses.
Benefits:
• Nourishes the body, enhances sleep and expands the life span • Improves skin texture, aids better vision while enhancing physical stability • Increases blood circulation, especially to the nerve endings • Tones the muscles • Lubricates the joints • Eliminates toxins • Increases stamina • Enhances sleep • Relieves fatigue and mental exhaustion • Calms the nerves and invigorates the senses
The Reflexology Track at Naad embodies the principles of earthing (walking barefoot on a natural surface) the concept of reflexology. The objective of reflexology is to stimulate the different nerve endings or reflexes that are linked to the body’s internal organs. Not only does reflexology soothe tired feet, but it also helps your organs heal from within. Our Reflexology Track , which has been inspired by the yin and yang symbol features soft, smooth pebbles of different sizes. These pebbles act as stimulants and massage the feet gently, helping one release stress and increase focus.
Kriyas
India’s ancient medical and health sciences – Ayurveda, Naturopathy and Yoga firmly believe that the path to holistic wellbeing first begins from within. Each therapy, treatment and asana work to heal internally and to bring balance to the body, mind and spirit.
Therapeutic Massage (60 minutes)
A classic massage involves an oil massage which concentrates on five specific movements i.e., long strokes, kneading, tapping, rolling, and vibration. This massage is known to significantly reduce cortisol levels and provide relief to sore muscles, improve blood circulation and rejuvenate the skin.
Here are some of the benefits traditionally associated with this therapy:
• Relaxes the body • Increases the level of oxygen in the blood • Decreases muscle toxins • Improves blood circulation • Increases flexibility while easing tension.
Himalayan Salt Cave (10-15 minutes)
Naad has recreated the microclimate of salt caves and our Himalayan Salt Caves are based on the principle that when salt is heated, it becomes drier and kinetically more active.
When these micro particles of super dry salt are inhaled into the respiratory system, they absorb and remove allergens, toxins and foreign substances in the lungs and the respiratory tract.
Additionally, since dry salt is highly absorbent, the micro particles can also permeate the epidermis and help balance the skin’s pH and induce the reparative and regenerative process in the skin, thereby stimulating cell growth and microcirculation.
Benefits:
• Enhances the mood and immunity • Ideal for those suffering from asthma, allergies, bronchitis, sinus congestion, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema and acne • Reduces stress • Improves sleep patterns
Turkish Hammam (50 minutes)
Turkish Baths or ‘Hammams’ as they are commonly referred to, are popular all around the world. Most of us know how relaxing and rejuvenating they are, but not many of us are aware that a visit to a ‘Hammam’ comes with a host of health benefits too.
The Turkish Hammam therapy at Naad combines a cleansing and relaxing ritual, followed by the Hararet or steam room. Hammam therapy revitalises and rehydrates the skin, improves metabolism while releasing tension from the body. Submerge yourself in a feeling of wellbeing and an incredible sense of oneness with the universe.
Benefits
• Enables relaxation and helps in lowering cortisol levels • Helps in cleansing the body • Improves blood circulation and aids healing while also reducing water retention and helping you detoxify • The exfoliation technique ensures that dead skin cells are removed, and the body feels lighter than ever before
