Ramada at Dehradun :
An island of emerald green snuggled in the lap of stunning Himalayas and sweeping Shivaliks, Dehradun is flanked by holy rivers Ganga on the east and Yamuna to the west. The capital of Uttarakhand, is abuzz with business bustle, but also gives out strong vacation vibes. Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world, is at a hop. Haridwar, the gateway to divinity, is at a skip and Mussoorie, the hotspot of Tibetan rebellion led by his holiness the Dalai Lama is literally at a jump. Located in the heart of the city, Ramada Dehradun Chakrata Road hotel gives you easy access to Jolly Grant Airport (DED) and the area’s top sites. It is just minutes from the Dehradun railway station and the historic Tapkeshwar Temple, as well as the Forest Research Institute and Indian Military Academy.
ILT had a privilege to view this property and experience their services. On our arrival,the staff gave us a warm welcome. We relaxes in their lobby till our check in formalities were getting completed. Their is this beautiful chandelier in the centre of the lobby. Opposite to reception is the coffee called ‘The Crust’. It had quite a few deserts like Mud cake, Fruit tarts,etc. also some quick take away like sandwiches etc. In the lobby itself there is a Gift shop ‘The Galleria’ which has beautiful flowers and plants for gifting your loved ones.
Rooms:
They have 3 categories of Rooms, n total of 50 rooms on five floors.Deluxe Room: it comprises of king bed ,with basic amenities provided in it, and these are spacious rooms.
Twin Bed rooms and Ramada Suites
Ramada Suites: are spacious, well equipped and the best part is to wake up to the scenic views of mountains. These suites are spacious and contemporary with King Sized beds. Bathroom is well equipped with good quality toiletries, and Jacuzi bath tub was personal favourite to unwind and feel refreshed. Mini bar was full of aerated drinks, chocolates arc, they also provided complementary chocolates everyday .
Restaurants
Garden Cress Is a multi cuisine Restaurant, ranging from variety of classical to fusion dishes. The ambience of this restaurant is more of earthy colours, which makes our experience more serene and royal. We enjoyed our Breakfast here, I opted for their exquisite buffet, I ordered traditional Poori Bhaaji which was well flavoured and extremely delicious. The buffet had South Indian delicacies like idli, Dosa, Uttappam, with Sambhar and South Indian chatnis.
There was wide variety of fresh juices, Cold cut meats, sausages, veg & Non veg sandwiches and variety of Cheese. My favourite was Tandoori Stuffed Paneer Paranthas . Lunch at Garden Cress I ordered Thai food for lunch. In snacks I ordered veg Thai glass noodles Spring Rolls, Fish tikka, Veg Paper Vietnamese Rolls, Mushroom soup. Veg Green thai Curry with Steamed Rice.
This is how I satisfied my cravings for Thai food with these delicious dishes. Evening Snacks: Fish Salt& Pepper, Tandoori platter Non veg (fish tikka, mutton seekhs, chicken tikka, Tandoori chicken, with green chutney),Veg Tom Yum soup and Veg Platter ( double decker mushroom, Malai Broccoli etc) each snack from Garden Cress was so well cooked, n mouth watering . Dinner Dal tadka, Butter chicken with Laccha Paranthas, with Phirni.
Allen & Marlle
This is a modern brewery of Ramada, the ambience of this place is rustic and electrifying . They offer wide variety of beers, cocktails and different brands of alcohol. This place has Live band performance , Live Dj etc. The variety of snacks on the menu of this brewery is quite a lot. We ordered Grilled Fish, Tandoori Pomphret, Tandoori Prawns, Tandoori pineapple, Spinach Canaloni baked, Few mocktails, but Pina class was my favourite.
Spa & Gym The spa provides most destressing and rejuvenating experience . I opted for Swedish spa, followed by steam n sauna . Must say this experience was meditative . Gymnasium was fully equipped with cardio machines , like Tread mill, Cross Trainers and weight section .
My over all experience in the beautiful Dehradun at Ramada Hotel was worth it, the hotel made my stay fully pampering , rejuvenating and destressing. This is surely my place to stay when ever i am in the beautiful city of Dehradun.

A very well renowned Hotel which is perfectly situated. The hotel here too looks beautiful and well maintained with all the wonderful facilities and amazing food. According to the blog they have an amazing range of alcohol and cocktails too.. a must try is the Tandoori Prawns.

I am from uttrakhand dehradun. Ramada hotel d. Dun located in the heart of city of people. This is amazing property. The out door pool and hot tub provide the perfect space to relax. Each guest room feature free Wi-Fi. Ramada is very lovely and mind blowing place and amazing food.
